Bruno, Kelly Clarkson & Harry Connick Jr. are all being eyed by ‘Idol’ producers.
Bruno Mars may be “Locked Out Of Heaven,” but there’s one place he’s still more than welcome: American Idol! “Producers and Fox would absolutely love to get Bruno Mars as a judge,” a source tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively.
“He’s super talented, amazingly charismatic, and well-liked by industry professionals and young fans.”
In fact, the wheels are already in motion to get Bruno seated at the judges’ table in season 13.
“[Producers] are looking into making him an offer very soon,” our source adds. “They’re looking to lock down next seasons judging panel sooner than later.”
‘American Idol’ Dream Team Revealed
But Bruno isn’t the only music superstar Idol producers have atop their list. In fact, he’s actually one of three singers they’d love to have on the judges’ panel next season.
“They’re currently happy going with a three-person judge panel, and would really like to add a former Idol to the panel,” our source reveals. “Harry Connick Jr., Kelly Clarkson and Bruno Mars is their so-called ‘dream team.’”
Are Mariah Carey & Keith Urban Out?
We already know Randy Jackson and Nicki Minaj aren’t returning to Idol next season, but what about Mariah Carey and Keith Urban?
Mariah has stayed mum on the issue — for now — but Keith seems to be gung-ho to remain on the judges’ panel.
“I literally enjoy coming to work every day and that’s a rarity,” he told us May 15 after taping the show.
